Visiting an art gallery has never been something I have appreciated or enjoyed, but now that I’ve started dabbling in acrylic painting myself, my appreciation for art has reached a new level. It felt fitting to revisit the Adelaide Art Gallery with my newfound perspective.
The Adelaide Art Gallery is a gem, right in the heart of the city, and offers a fantastic array of exhibits spanning centuries and styles. I’ve always admired the beautiful architecture of the building, but this time, I was more engrossed in the art itself. Seeing the brushstrokes up close and understanding a little more about different techniques made the experience so much richer.
Thank you to Chloe and Aiva for being my sidekicks on this one. It was a great day out together, ticking things off my list and sharing our “intelligent” thoughts on the art.
