As part of my “50 before 50” challenge, I decided to take my mum out to sip bubbles on a rooftop bar.
Why a rooftop bar? Because, believe it or not, I’d never been on one. I also wanted us to enjoy a great view, where we could chat and enjoy each other’s company, and the idea of having a glass of sparkling wine while overlooking the city felt perfect for some quality time together.
With glasses of bubbly in hand, we chatted about everything and anything. We laughed, reminisced, and simply enjoyed being together.
This wasn’t just a day out; it was a celebration of the wonderful relationship I share with my mum. It was about taking the time to appreciate the little moments, the laughter, and our bond. As we clinked our glasses, enjoying the city view, I felt so grateful for this experience and for my amazing mum who has always been there for me.
