Our trip to Fiji was a heartwarming return to a place that holds a special place in our hearts. It was our 7th visit to this beautiful country and definitely not our last.
Some people were surprised to see Fiji on my “50 Before 50” list, given that we’ve visited several times before. But for us, it was the perfect way to mark our first overseas trip since the COVID restrictions. After such a long hiatus from travel, returning to Fiji felt like coming home.
We always try to make each Fiji experience a little different. This time, we kicked off our adventure with a helicopter ride to our resort flying over so many beautiful Fiji islands. Our Fijian families once again welcomed us with their warmth and humility, making our return even more special.
Their deep devotion to faith is evident in their gratitude and service. Despite facing economic challenges, the Fijians embody a richness in happiness and love that is truly inspiring. We always come away with valuable life lessons from their way of life.
This trip reaffirmed our love for Fiji, and we look forward to many more visits in the future. Vinaka, Fiji! ???? (aka Thank You Fiji)
