Bird in Hand Winery is somewhere I’ve always wanted to visit but have never gotten around to. We all know and love their sparkling wine. I mean, what kind of celebration is it if there isn’t a “bottle of Bird”?
Bird in Hand is located in Woodside, and the drive through the Adelaide Hills to get there is absolutely beautiful. The journey there is just as enjoyable as the destination.
It wasn’t difficult to find some willing participants for this adventure. Kelly and Maria joined me for a tasting, and by the end of it, we were quite “happy” and walked away with arms full of purchases. We enjoyed a fabulous selection of wines, from their renowned sparkling to their rich reds and crisp whites. The winery itself is stunning and I will definitely be visiting again.
