As part of my “50 Before 50” adventure, I finally got to check out Pik-a-Pie at Meadows. For years, I’d seen this place on my drives to my mum’s house at Victor Harbor, and it always sparked my curiosity. There was always a long line of customers, and I wanted to find out what all the fuss was about.
I picked out my pie from the huge selection available, but by the time we reached the counter, it was sold out. Although I was a bit disappointed, I chose another pie. And I’m happy to report that it was delicious!
The experience was a tasty reminder that even when things don’t go as planned, you can still end up with something pretty darn good. Pik-a-Pie lived up to its reputation. Check it out!
